Having major problems with my iMac computer i spoke to Kieth at Appel and made an appointment to have it inspected.The service was first class.Kieth explained everything that he discovered on inspection, and went through the procedures required to rectify the problems.The computer now works perfectly and the cost was VERY reasonable, in fact much less than i was expecting.If you need your Mac repaired or diagnosed i recommend that Appel is the place to take it, and let Kieth deal with it.The man is an absolute expert in his field.

El CapitanUpgrading an older Mac to El Capitan. Beware CPU hogging and over heating at first start up. It appears that Photos background activities coupled with Spotlight indexing are causing a lot of overheating and crashes on older Macs until both have completed initial set up. Try installing iStat Menus to run the fans faster and leave your Mac on for 24 hours after initial set up. As always, give me a call if you need help.

Another MacBook Air liquid spill. Chemical clean and replace d SSD. All works fine now.

13″ MacBook Pro Retina repair. Cracked LED screen replaced with complete screen assembly. All done in an hour.

iPad Mini with badly cracked screen was challenging to resolve as internal cables were damaged as a result of damage as well as a short on the main board. This would normally have been uneconomic to repair but our engineers were able to resolder and repair the board & keep the cost under £100 for the total repair.
