My hard drive failed (after 6 years) and there was no chance of retrieving the data. Keith installed a new HD, retrieved data from my Time Machine and I was back to normal within 24 hours. Supplied iPad Mini refurbished plus new lighting mains cable. Found some braided lightning cables from Robert Dyas which do the job admirably and for less than £10.

Downgrade Yosemite back to Mavericks. This is not a simple task and the only way to save your data is if you have a recent back up using Lion, Mountain Lion or Mavericks. Takes around a day!
