Just a quick note to say thanks for repairing the iMac 24 which went “Bang” and resulted in a blown power transformer. This was diagnosed, repaired and internally cleaned in 3 days. Thanks to Appel for trying to save me money by finding a cheaper solution to my dead cinema screen. Unfortunately the cheap option didn’t work but they did source a new graphics card which worked a treat and my mac and two screens are once again fully functional. I was very happy with the service. MacPro faulty graphics card tried alternative but had to import original from US.

Another MacBook Air repair with liquid damage. Replaced keyboard. recovered data from SSD, reformatted and set up with original data & new OS. 100% data recovery & works fine now.

13″ MacBook Air water damaged, liquid inside casing. Stripped all down and dried out carefully over 2 days. Cleaned any oxidation from components. Rebuilt and all good. Also increased RAM from 4 to 8GB & repaired broken keys on keyboard. MacBook Air like new again & all working.

iPad Mini with badly cracked screen was challenging to resolve as internal cables were damaged as a result of damage as well as a short on the main board. This would normally have been uneconomic to repair but our engineers were able to resolder and repair the board & keep the cost under £100 for the total repair.

Helpful assessment that replacing faulty memory heatsink on PowerMac G5 was problematic. As a result decision made to purchase a new iMac rather than go for a risky repair.
