I tend to use an Apple Store when something goes wrong but I’ve moved house and the nearest store was awkward to get to. So with some trepidation I looked for somewhere local and then headed out to Appel. Glad I did. Friendly and good at explaining what they’re going to do and what costs might look like. Thankfully it was a weird software issue so the cost was low and they had it ready for me very quickly. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if I need to.

Did my absolute best effort at drowning a laptop and these guys managed to fix it up without losing any of the stuff that was on it and I reckon it actually works a bit quicker now. Definitely recommend them if you too ever suffer from a complete lack of common sense and think putting a laptop on the edge of the bath is a good idea.

Yesterday, I had an issue with my iMac. I called Appel, and they advised that I could bring it in immediately. Both Keith and Sulaiman fixed the problem and took the time to check that my settings weren’t inadvertently causing conflicts (some were). In the past, Appel has installed a 2TB external hard drive for me and I feel that they always offer a friendly and top-notch service. I wouldn’t take my Apple products anywhere else—thanks, guys!
